Ice Chest Full of Fish in Two Hours

by JR
(USA)

It was one of those September evenings that was perfect for an evening on the pier.
The air was warm with the usual breeze as we made our way out onto the pier and found a spot close to the end.
We got our poles rigged and baited with pieces of blood worm.
It wasn't long after the my line was in the water that the action all started with the short jerks of the line and a quick pull back on the rod.
For the next 2 hours we reeled in these large Spot, 2 at a time, averaging 10 inches.
This was probably the most fun I've ever had.
We had a pretty good fish fry that week with our friends.
