Have you ever tried Hang Gliding? Do a beach vacation at the OBX and you can take to flight, from the tallest sand dune I know of on the east coast, and get the feeling of what Orville and Wilber Wright must have had when they did their famous first flight right here at Kill Devil Hills.

These barrier islands offer some of the best beach combing and treasure hunting experiences you will have. You just never know when you will find a sea shell unlike any you have ever found or even a Spanish coin washed ashore from the Graveyard of the Atlantic shipwrecks.

After another fun-filled day at the beach, you will want to eat a great meal at one of the best restaurants only found here on the Banks.
