Directions for using some of the map features

• Move left, right, up and down by clicking on the directional arrows at the top left corner.


• Zoom in and out by clicking on the + and - sign on the left side.


• To view photos, videos, webcam images and wikipedia information, click on "view OBX Map on a larger map" at the bottom and then click on the "more" button at the top and then place a check in the box of the item you would like to see. You will see thumbnails appear on the map that you can click on to begin viewing.

My Favorite Interactive Feature

Click on "view Outer Banks Map in a larger map" and when the new map opens, if you click on the little orange guy above the slide bar on the left and drag him to any location that becomes highlighted in blue you will get an interactive 360 degree view of that location.

This is a really great way to see what the street and area is like surrounding your vacation rental house.
